RC Transfer क्यों ज़रूरी है?
- Accident या challan की ज़िम्मेदारी नए मालिक पर साफ़-साफ़ आए
- Insurance claim में दिक्कत न हो
- Future resale या ownership proof के लिए
📝 RC Transfer Process – Step by Step
1️⃣ Documents Collect करें
Seller (पुराना मालिक) से ये लें:
- Original RC
- Form 29 (Notice of Transfer – 2 copies)
- Form 30 (Application for Transfer)
- Valid Insurance copy
- PUC certificate
- Seller का ID proof
Buyer (आप) के:
- Address proof
- ID proof
- Passport size photos
2️⃣ Parivahan Website या RTO जाएँ
आप दो तरीकों से कर सकते हैं:
✅ Online (Recommended)
- Website: Parivahan.gov.in
- “Transfer of Ownership” चुनें
- Vehicle number डालें
- Forms upload करें
- Fees pay करें
🏢 Offline
- Local RTO जाकर forms submit करें
- Documents verify होंगे
3️⃣ Fees Pay करें 💰
- Normally ₹300–₹500 (state पर depend करता है)
- Smart Card RC की extra fee हो सकती है
4️⃣ Timeline ⏳
- Same RTO के अंदर: 14 days के अंदर apply करना चाहिए
- Different RTO / State: 45 days
- New RC आमतौर पर 2–4 हफ्तों में मिल जाती है
📦 RC Transfer के बाद क्या मिलेगा?
- New RC (Smart Card) आपके नाम से
- Status आप Parivahan site पर track कर सकते हैं
⚠️ Important Tips
- Insurance भी अपने नाम transfer कराएँ (बहुत ज़रूरी!)
- Payment हमेशा proof के साथ करें
- जब तक RC transfer न हो, गाड़ी कम चलाएँ
